Variantes do estado de migração e sua aplicação no Sul Global
Resumo
O presente artigo busca responder à pergunta de pesquisa “como os estados do Sul Global gerenciam a migração transfronteiriça?”, possuindo como referencial teórico a obra de James F. Hollifield, do ano de 2004, que permite uma análise comparativa observando que conceito atual de “Estado de Migração” é limitado, aplicável tão somente para a imigração econômica em democracias liberais avançadas. O artigo faz uma revisão bibliográfica internacional sobre o “Estado de Migração”, analisando especificamente as políticas de gestão migratória dos estados do Norte Global e sua aplicação no Sul Global.
