Thematic Lines of the Journal

The Law & Peace Journal, in partnership with other Brazilian and foreign educational and research institutions, will constitute a vehicle to stimulate scientific production, opening space for dialogue on themes linked to the following Area of Concentration: "Social, Diffuse, and Collective Rights." Thus, the Journal receives scientific contributions that support the understanding of the Doctrinal, Historical, Jusphilosophical, and Normative Foundations that allow the idealization of policies and mechanisms for the effectiveness and implementation of social, diffuse, and collective rights, related to the following themes:

  1. Social, Economic, and Cultural Rights;
  2. Diffuse and Collective Rights.

The Law & Peace Journal, linked to the Master's Degree in Law at the Salesian University Center of São Paulo (UNISAL), is intended for the publication of works that, due to their content, can contribute to the formation and scientific development of law, as well as the updating of knowledge in the area and thematic lines previously specified.

Frequency
Biannual Frequency: The Law & Peace Journal adopts a biannual frequency, publishing one issue per semester, in the respective months: June and December, for a total of two issues per year.

Open Access Policy

The Law & Peace Journal, a periodical of the Research and Postgraduate Program at the Salesian University Center of São Paulo, is open to the national and international academic community and is intended for the publication of works that, due to their content, can contribute to the formation and scientific development, as well as the updating of knowledge related to the journal's research line.

The periodical aims to promote debate and disseminate the knowledge produced by its faculty, which includes doctors and collaborators from other institutions, with the purpose of opening space for the exchange of ideas, fostering scientific production, and expanding academic participation in the community.

The Law & Peace Journal, with biannual frequency, provides immediate open access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge freely available to the public enables the diffusion and democratization of scientific knowledge both nationally and internationally.

The texts published in the Law & Peace Journal have no commercial purpose.
