Abstract

The study aims to bring a reflection on CSR and its relation in a planet with finite natural resources. As well as examining the design of economic, social and environmental (ecological) sustainability as an element of development and well-being. It is intended to emphasize the importance of promoting sustainability in strategic actions of social responsibility with the perception of the environment as the stabilizer of global relations and as capital strategy for the sustainable development of the economy and the environment. The research problem is precisely the following question: how can corporate social responsibility actions lead to the promotion of sustainability? The research is a bibliographical with a qualitative approach, whose field of investigation takes place in international and national doctrines and in Brazilian legal order. Finally, we consider the solutions to the challenge of profit versus sustainability on a finite planet.
