Abstract

The great challenge in the 21st century is to implement Agenda 2030, aiming to ensure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labor, including the recruitment and use of child soldiers in accordance with SDG n. 8. Faced with this challenge, this research aims to analyze the forced or compulsory recruitment of children to be used in armed conflicts. To achieve the expected ends, the methodology used will be documentary and exploratory, using the inductive method, with bibliographic and documentary character to assess the premises established in the research and demonstrate the need to prohibit child labor.

Doutora em Filosofia do Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Mestre em Direitos Humanos. Especialista em Direito do Trabalho e Processo do Trabalho.  Professora no Programa de Mestrado em Direito da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Pesquisadora com experiência na área do Direito, com ênfase em Direitos Humanos e Filosofia do Direito.
