Notes on the historical origin of the principle of inexcusability and its current understanding

Abstract
A foreshortening is presented regarding some historical antecedents that explain the adoption in Chilean procedural legislation of the so-called principle of inexcusability, and the way in which said principle has been outlined today, in the light of doctrine and some relevant jurisprudence.
