PLANNING OF SUSTAINABLE AND INTELLIGENT CITIES AS A RESOURCE OF URBAN LAW FOR SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Abstract
The main objective of the research is to verify the connection between sustainable cities and intelligent cities from the necessary urban and environmental planning within urbanism and urban law. The problem is to know the proximity between sustainable cities and smart cities considering the urban organization and the regulatory dispositions of urban law. The methodology was developed through reading by the hypothetical-deductive method. This is basic, exploratory and bibliographical research, structured in three fragments. The first part studies urbanism and urban law and their respective principles. The next part talks about urban and environmental planning, highlighting the City Statute and the Director Plan, with an emphasis on sustainability. In the end, the link between sustainable cities and smart cities is analyzed to understand that these are different but similar situations, the first is about a normative guideline that leads to development, while the second concerns the information and communication technology that induces an urban revolution.
