OS SOCIAL RIGHTS AND CURRENT CRISES IN BRAZIL: what if there is no money in the public budget for social rights?

Abstract

What is the relevance of the Public Budget for the realization of social rights in Brazil? This is the problematization outlined in this chapter. In order to demonstrate that the budget pieces must be observed as essential in the promotion and protection of fundamental rights, the hypothetical deductive method and techniques of bibliographic review and analysis of the primary data of the Union budget were used. The conclusion is that even in a crisis environment established in Brazil (economic, political and health), public resources should be allocated to the realization of the basic rights exemplified in work, health and education.
