A CONTRIBUIÇÃO DOS CARTÓRIOS DE PROTESTO NA RECUPERAÇÃO DOS CRÉDITOS

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the contribution that extrajudicial protest of bills and titles can make to increase the effectiveness of the collection of credits from private entities and the Public Finance. To this end, the text sought to expose the difficulties of charging through the courts of justice, tha has higher costs and lower returns. Some successful experiences were cited in the credits collect through the protest. An additional benefit is the collaboration with the Judiciary, as the protest services considerably reduces the number of cases. Then, the text goes through the protest office’s procedure, in order to demonstrate its safety and speed. Alson is analyzed the position of the Superior Courts on the subject, and theyre main theses about the protest service.
