Abstract

Chilean society has already faced various problems related to violence, derived from the idea of power and domination of a person or groups, causing physical, psychological, economic or sexual damage. The present study aims to analyze two types of violence that have had normative consecration in Chile, sexual and labor harassment, from a normative and jurisprudential perspective. From the analysis of the rules in Chile, it is possible to conclude that the only applicable sanction is a fine for the offender, but nothing is said in relation to the reparation of the damage that the conduct causes in the victim, that is, without the real and effective will to solve the underlying problem.
